Binary Spirals is the brainchild of four musicians who initially collaborated entirely on the internet. Originally conceived in three separate studios in 2007 as a side project from the live bands we played in, Binary Spirals was born as a small indie release, but with big goals for online marketing and distribution. What began as a whim went on to revitalize the Smooth Jazz world the following summer when they broke through in Cyberspace with Meta Morpheus, a fast-tempo fusion piece that became the seventh most-played track on Contemporary Jazz internet radio stations this year.
